Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2011 Part II: The Bryce is Right

What about the LMN Line?

McGowan does not have the kind of skill needed to play with those two guys, at least not right from the start. He can be valuable contributor (especially down the road), but not in that role.

IMO, JL and Neal need a linemate who can clear out bodies. McGowan probably could do that, but I think that Haggerty could also do that plus he has a better skill set. Of course, I am purely speculating, having only seen a few videos on the various players. I also agree that it is unlikely that we will start with an all-freshman line, but two years ago, we did eventually get a JD'A-Pirri-O'Grady line.

I think that Malchuk can be great with them, because he has the speed to keep up with them while still shouldering the load on the defensive end.

Without a Peer twitter http://twitter.com/without_a_peer reporting game at ND off the schedule and its AIC at home instead. Guess the Golden Domers didnt want to look bad twice in one weekend. (They play USC in football the next day after what was supposed to be the game between RPI and ND.)

I like that thought-and have mentioned it earlier. Just has a real catchy ring ot it. What we do have however is a lot of possibilities pairing up freshmen with a lot of potential. Should be fun to see how this all plays out.

I have mixed feelings on this. The idea of traveling to ND for only one game just did not make much sense economically. However, we saw this year how beneficial a tough NC schedule can be. Swapping ND for AIC is a huge hit in this department. Beating AIC will do nothing for any PWR categories (including RPI), whereas even a loss to ND very well might have been of net benefit to us.

So are we looking at, once again, Bentley coming here?

It's tough to see us lose a CCHA NC game, but we're still at 4 WCHA, 2 CCHA, 1 HE, 1 ECAC, just now potentially 4 Atlantic (assuming Bentley is back on; UNH is not possible that weekend because they are playing SCSU).

We still have the CCHA games, we just need to, all the more, root for Ferris in those games.

Today is 15 June 2011. There are 108 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 1 October for the start of next season.

That is the day that an exhibition game is supposedly scheduled.

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2011 Part II: The Bryce is Right

Without a Peer twitter http://twitter.com/without_a_peer reporting game at ND off the schedule and its AIC at home instead. Guess the Golden Domers didnt want to look bad twice in one weekend. (They play USC in football the next day after what was supposed to be the game between RPI and ND.)

The article says AIC and ND are both on in the story, but ND is missing and CC is on the wrong weekend in the schedule below. The CC error makes me think that we still might have the ND game. I guess we'll know for sure when it's published on the athletics website.

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2011 Part II: The Bryce is Right

Obamacare or any other payment program would have had little to no effect on my practice-I did mostly reconstructive skin cancer surgery which pretty much stands separate from many other fields of medicine. I also performed lots of cosmetic surgery which although desired by patients, is not reimbursable under any medical coverage since it is not deemed medically necessary. Most of our success, however, was due to the plain fact that we did not take any vacation time in over 30 years. When you work basically all the time it is pretty hard not to do well in medicine. Besides, I had Jenny in the office with me running the show as chief nurse and office manager-and when you work with nurse Ratchet you keep moving all the time-she never let things slow down.
(I'm not 'on' the thread but I read every word, boys...)

Doc...someone in your line of work saved my life about 10 years go...I had that malady (Stage III); were it not for a series of very aggressive and highly invasive surgeries, I would not have been the 'Hockey Mom' I am today...amazing what a guy with a sharp implements, artistic use of what's left after cutting and some really strong staples can accomplish ;)...the B.R.O. and the Hubster ain't the only tough ones in our household...:p

If you're coming out to this neck of the woods, guess we'd have to hit up a bar or two.

Love the success stories. Over the many years in practice Jenny and I had lots of them. I truly wish we were successful 100% of the time-unfortunately we are just not. Both Jenny and I have each had several suspicious lesions attended to but nothing close to what you describe. Feel incredible that things turned out well for you. Please keep following up though-would not want you to have something develop later on.
