There will be captains next year. Big difference.
I agree. It sucked those couple of games this year when CJ got tossed.
Not sure if you were intentionally missing the point or not so I'll assume you were.
What year did Monty leave rpi
2010. Same year Pirri and D'Amigo left.
Players' reactions about SA staying http://www.troyrecord.com/articles/...516f70919e60c162386316.txt?viewmode=fullstory. Now I have to post on the recruit thread also.![]()
Many admitted to being worried but knew it was a possibility over which they had no control.
“It was definitely coming across our minds,” said center and junior (senior-to-be) Brock Higgs, “especially for someone like myself and my classmates. He’s (Appert) the one who recruited us and wanted us in the program, so having that question in our minds was a little bit scary but at the same time, we kind of had the feeling that we’ve been on a mission together for the past three years, we didn’t want it to end and we kind of had the gut feeling that coach didn’t want it to end either.”
Sophomore goaltender Jason Kasdorf admitting to being “a little bit nervous. My gut feeling was that he was going to stay but I wasn’t totally sure. I’m extremely excited about next season knowing he’s staying.”
....
Two freshmen said they believed all along that Appert would stay.
“I wasn’t too worried,” said defenseman Phil Hampton. “I know how much he loves this place. I know he coached at Denver (and Appert’s previous desire to someday be the head coach there), but I knew he was going to stay.
“Not too worried,” winger Travis Fulton said. “Seth – you can tell how much he loves this program, so I wasn’t surprised. [emphases added]
Ok so no players he coached will be on squad just guys he recruited when Denver comes to town

...have to admit I was kind of laughing at Lali's comment........ “I didn’t really look into it,” said sophomore center Jacob Laliberté. “He’s our leader but hockey is a business (even amateur hockey), so you know (that might happen). But we’re very glad he’s still here to lead us.” Now that's a response I expect coming from someone who Luke once said of, "he's so old he committed during the VietNam War".Several comments from that article that stood out for me:
I'm hoping / looking forward to a renewed energy and commitment for '13-'14 season, as OGC removed his name from consideration before DU made its selection. Big boost for the team and the program.
I'ld put more stock in the opinions of the people who sit to my right in Sect.17 (you know who you areThe mothership has named their All-USCHO team. Bailen made second team.

Eastern bias: it looks like only three schools from west of the Mississipi are listed.
I'm not sure whether any survey based on success in playing computer games can measure "intelligence" so much as it measures "nerdiness."
