A pit bull can be either your best friend or your worst nightmare. It depends on what side you're on.

I am hoping for your safety that she does not see that post. Have you been measured for concrete shoes before?

I have been traveling a bit so only checking the board sporadically - I am incredibly relieved to see that Appert is staying and has an extension. I honestly thought he was gone and that Monty was going to Maine. We dodged a bullet. Its also great to see Seth committed to this program. We are very lucky.

I hope that we won't have the chance to use this title:

RPI Off-Season 2014 Part I: On the Whole, I Would Rather Be in Philadelphia

Not sure if it has been mentioned previously but look for Ferris St to be the 4th team in the Mariucci Classic next year.

And hopefully we're actually playing them instead of Colgate.

Re: RPI Off-Season 2013 Part I: We Will Get Our Title Next Season

RPI men's hockey coach Seth Appert was in Boston with his staff to support Nolan Graham, an assistant coach who finished the marathon about 40 minutes before the blast, Appert said.
Appert was at a restaurant with his group about four or five blocks from the finish line when he heard the explosions.
"You heard a boom, a loud boom," he said. "... After I heard that, I looked out and saw hundreds, if not thousands of people running in one direction. And so we quickly got out of there and started trying to get out of town as quickly as we could."
Appert said Norris Pearson, the manager RPI of Houston Field House, ran the marathon with his wife and both are OK.
