So Yale has beaten UMass-Lowell and Quinnipiac holds a 3-0 lead over St. Cloud State after one. It is looking quite likely that after another 40 minutes of play, the ECAC will be 7-1 in this year's tournament.

Attention, Coach Appert! Do you want to coach in the best college hockey league in the country? You already are. :)

And we played Yale twice winning 6-1 and 4-1 this year. Both games with QU were close with a tie and a loss (only after giving up a late SH goal against). If QU holds on to win, we will probably have the best record against the two championship teams of anyone. Interesting year.

I just turned the game on a short time ago.. what did the Mayor of Glens Falls say? (JUst imagine if the Mullet and Grapes were on the same broadcast team... there's be more forechecking in the booth than on the ice.) :D

So it's three minutes to go and the goalie is pulled.... Domo areato, Mr Bob Moszcko?

I bopped into the score threads for a few moments to check out the results and was a bit surprised. Don't know if they were an anomaly or not, but our score threads are several orders of magnitude better in the quality of participation and commentary. :)

This is based upon 5 October 2013 for the start of next season.

I agree. I suspect that Gwozdecky gave his approval to SA and Lalonde to go after the job but discussed the negatives of the situation also. The question in my mind is whether SA feels that he can succeed in dealing with the DU admins where Gwoz couldn't.

I hope that the administration at the Tute takes this opportunity to make an offer to Our Great Coach to try and keep him here. Whether its more years and some more $$$$, I think showing OGC a further committment is approppriate. I think one thing we can all agree on is that we are headed in the right direction. At times we were playing better than both of the teams that are playing for a National Championship. Of course our record against the teams from CT is 2-1-1.

This is one thing that I will never, ever give you flak about. It took me 4 years before I would even go on a highway, and I rarely drive in other states. When we (family, WRPI crew) go on road trips, more often than not, I am the passenger. I almost killed myself and Tim Heiman in Denver one year so from that point on, he banned me from driving when we were travelling together.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that almost happened. Driving is for some, and it's not for others. Growing up in the middle of nowhere, the driver's license was my rite of passage so to speak. For me, that's what I'm doing if I'm going anywhere. It will be quite a while before I think about doing what my aunt and uncle do and live in a mobile RV full time, though. I'm just happy that this year, I was able to complete my personal RPI Hockey goal in attending a game at every current ECAC rink (granted I never went to Gutterson and UVM was still in the ECAC my freshman year, but if we ever play them again, I'll consider it).
