Always fun - I've done this at many a non-hockey event: weddings, company Christmas parties...Union always Sucks.

One of my buddies has been taking some trips to Amherst MA and decided to teach their students section to yell "Screw BU" instead of "Union Sucks".

End of the second period and RPI leads 2-0. obviously a much better period by the boys. So far this year there does not seem to be a dreaded second period

Looked a little flat to end the 2nd. Would like to see more energy to start the 3rd and put this one away... hopefully.

Very solid period...pretty much controlled the play and MSU seems to be expecting a hit every time they touch the puck.

Timmy said we out muscled them in the period. Sounds like the strength program is paying dividends. Lets take it to em in the 3rd boyz.. Doesnt mean a thing if we dont finish. GO RED

We get to start the third period up 2 goals (yesterday we had a 2 goal lead midway through the third). Hopefully coach SA can get this team to now change emphasis from trying to get the next goal-to trying to prevent the next goal. Having a two goal lead in the third is something new for us-we just have not had that opportunity very often in the past few years. The pro teams are extremely effective at making that fairly subtle change. Very important 20 minutes coming up for us.

The only thing that Prevent D prevents is winning. Although we have to be mindful of D, we must stay as aggressive as ever.

I actually agree with FDude here - Apps said in the pregame vid that we are not the team to play Prevent D (thankfully - prevent D is terrible to watch)
