I normally try to leave our WRPI audio on with these kinds of video broadcasts but sometimes they are a minute or more out of sync and I get a bit confused. BTW Jen and I were privileged to see the last time we beat Miami in person. December 1984 in the Xmas tournament and it was a 9-1 win that could have been even worse. Our team that night was on fire and the Oates line was just dominant. The next night we played a very strong University of Toronto who gave us everything we could ask for in a 4-2 game. After the game, staying at the old Troy Holiday Inn, we met most of the Toronto team in the bar. Maybe a bit of a stretch but some of them seem older than we were!
I spent 25 years as one of the NJ State Police Surgeons and can tell you that car color (and of course model) makes a huge difference it whether you get stopped more often. Drive a grey Honda Civic and they will never notice you unless you are in the left lane. Drive a Mars Red Porsche 911 and you could get stopped while driving in reverse!
We went there after most games. I believe at some time they called that bar the Station? Or perhaps the Depot?I was there too, but I didn't go to the bar.
