This period is a bit of a test of character (aren't they all?). Non-conference game, small crowd, leading goal scorer sitting on the bench. If the Engineers show up in the third and put this team away it'll be a very good sign.

After last weekend, this team should not need any impetus from a crowd. If they cannot motivate themselves and keep that going for the entire game then they are not ready fro prime time.

Something to shoot for: If RPI wins by 4 goals, I will go to tomorrow's game and spare all of you the game reset.

From what I have seen, Curadi and Reno have not had a good night. They have been a bit sluggish and certainly not moving the puck as well as they have in the past.

I was being kind-but they were very slow reacting on goal number 2 against. Normally they have been the strength of the defense but tonight they are just out of sync badly.

And 5 of our recruits including 3 forwards have played one period. None are on the scoreboard. :(
