3-2 Mercyhurst and this is what happens when we play not to lose. Once we got up 2-1 it seemed like we just lost all the air in the tires.

Mid-season blah's as we seem to be playing at the level of an average team at best.

Scotty D is a very adequate goalie-but with our offense not finishing as they did earlier in the season-he is forced to make that one extra save-he has to make that one big stop that has not happened and we are just giving up that one extra goal that we cannot come back from.

We are one of the worst teams at pulling the goalie and keeping pressure in the offensive zone. it is almost an ENG for certain and sure enough it is now 4-2

The reason it wasn't a penalty is because that would normally be called a penalty shot. However, in the case of an empty net, the obvious and imminent rule comes into play, and it is ruled a straight goal.
