Re: RPI III: Revenge of the Seth

It seems as though Appert has been able to sell a relaxed confidence that is permeating the team at just the right time..:)

Agreed-perhaps a lot easier to sell after outscoring Quinnipiac and Princeton 8-2 on the road:D

Re: RPI III: Revenge of the Seth

Anyone know if the Vote for Hobey site is working? Cannot get results to display but kept voting for Chase anyway.

Re: RPI III: Revenge of the Seth

Good to see Marc Cavosie back in Albany for a two game stint...hope they add him to the roster again come the playoffs...

"...Cavosie was playing with the ECHL's Reading Royals when Rats coach Jeff Daniels called him Tuesday and asked him if he wanted to come home for a game or two. Albany's roster has been depleted by callups, injuries and a suspension.

"...I come in and try to play responsibly and hard and hopefully try and stick somewhere and for the future. It looks like they're going to make the playoffs, and maybe they'll need a guy then. We'll see what happens."

Agreed Babo. I'm sure Seth worked them out full speed yesterday to make sure they are full-go Saturday. Should be a dandy.

For those of you who haven't read Schott's column, the law firm of
Murphy, Murphy, Prusak & Petrus will be handling the case Saturday night.

(I can hear Doc groaning from here.):p
Perhaps this will actually benefit RPI; since we know they love to make sure their whistles are still working throughout the game. Clearly RPI's special teams have won us our last couple games while our 5v5 play has not been the greatest(Princeton really controlled the game 5on5, though we were able to keep them from getting too many quality scoring opportunities). We also know that Union's PK has been pretty weak all season and although their PP has good numbers it's a little inflated because they've had less opportunities and a bunch have been 5on3. As long as we avoid taking a stupid penalty while already on a penalty, it should give us the upper hand.

Certainly possible. If we can get pressure and a few early goals on Milan, the wheels may come off for him...:p

Unlikely. The ref's handbook clearly states RPI must receive more penalties than their opponent in an ECAC contest. :p
