Period ends with RPI down 1-0. Lots of chances no goals. If those kinds of chances keep coming, we will be fine.

Grant Scott, #5 for UConn, sophomore transfer from the Gophers. Went into the boards legs first after being hit, legally, by an RPI player. They brought out the stretcher but didn't need it, as two teammates helped him off. Came off the ice unable to put any pressure on his left leg. Hopefully he's ok.

I agree ~ I'm happy to take our chances with 20 shot periods the rest of the way. Esepecially when every one of our 20 was better than any of UConn's 9 (excepting the goal)...

Is anyone else having freezing problems with B2 . It seems to be an ongoing problem.

With all these missed chances it is beginning to sound like the fates are not being kind to us.

The women are currently tied with Syracuse 1-1 in the 2nd period
