Re: RPI Hockey 2019 - 2020 Part II: Moving on with 2020 Vision!

Thanks. So it probably isn't necessary to give him an extension at this time. Although he may warrant it and almost certainly would if we get to LP, I am concerned about RPI being saddled with long contracts based upon previous events.

Very true. We don't want to once again be giving long extensions for a single winning season.

None of the road teams are favored, but if I had to choose one, it's definitely Brown over Colgate.

I have heard this gentleman, Dave Aiello, announced among the alumni game participants a number of times over the years so he's clearly legit. For the life of me, however, I can't remember when he played. Was he on the JV, a practice player (extra goalie?) or did he change his name from Zach Dargaty or some other name I might remember?

I asked him that question probably a year or two ago because I did not remember him either. My recollection is that he said that he practiced with the team and suited up for some games.

Really over the top that we had two players, Savory and Burgess, honored in their positions as ECAC players of the month!!!!!Now if we can have that for the Month of March, that would be really special;)

I think he was the team manager in the mid '80's. I know that's when he was at the school because I remember speaking with him once or twice and it was before Addessa left.

It's so strange to not have games this weekend but not to be sad about the season ending!

As opposed to last year, it will be DST when the season ends. Of course, that is partially due to the fact that the second Sunday in March is as early as it can be.
