Yes it can always get worse. But it will be a soft landing as there isn't much of a fall to endure. I hope they play for their pride the rest of the way. It would be neat to see them sweep Cornell. That would give us all a bright note to begin the playoffs. I do belief Coach Smith has his work cut out for him. No matter how much house cleaning he does and no matter how many of his own recruits he brings in. I know many of you won't want to hear this, but I believe we need to offer credit where it is due. Union has certainly played very well and until today (as yet to be seen) are outside the top 20. I realize they are at 20 in the pairwise, but they have quietly beaten every team they have faced lately. They are 10-3 since the start of 2018. So kudos to them. Should be a good tournament with a great deal of parity in the ECAC.

It'd be the first time in 20 years we've swept them, IIRC. Seems unlikely given that circumstance, our present season, and how we were in a similar predicament just last week with Quinnipiac. However, that's why they play the game.

Needless to say, the Dutchmen will be cheering for you on Friday along with the entire school and most of the population of Schenectady. I will be praying to the hockey gods.

We did! The staff at Lynah was really upset that we'd ruined their Senior Night and cut us off in the middle of Hey! Baby.
