Re: RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016:: Six Flags Over the HFH

For what it's worth, I thought this may have been the best game we've played this year. You hit the nail on the head - the teams that have given the Big Green trouble have been fast and talented up front -- (Harvard and Michigan). We don't have a lot of high end talent like in years past which, and our meltdowns have started with special teams (our PP and Kill have been brutal). Thought our Kill last night looked great, but may have been a reflection of an off night for RPI's PP. Good luck the rest of the year!
I’m truly not trying to be rude but if that was the best your Team has played this year  If RPI plays a game like that vs a quality opponent it’s a blowout. Had RPI played like they had been playing last night’s game would not have been close. All just my opinion of course. :)

Not so odd. It's Engineer hockey. :)

Update - The last time an RPI team had fewer PIMs than their opposition was Dec. 5, 2015. :)

Re: RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016:: Six Flags Over the HFH

No one has done this yet.

We played one game in 1926-27 after the scoreless tie.
Then from 1927-28 through last season we played 1,990 games.
Prior to today, we played 16 games this season.

It looks like we ended a streak of 2,007 non-scoreless games. :)

Too much time playing 'Word Association' in the Café. ;)

Re: RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016:: Six Flags Over the HFH

Safe assumption is that this was RPI's first scoreless game indoors.

Btw Ralph, how many of the first four did you see in person?? :)
JK..

Or you can contribute that 15 dollars to RPITV so they can keep providing the broadcasts for free.

You do know that FlagDUDE bucks have about as much worth as a glass of water to a drowning person, right? Although I'll give you that RPI-TV is doing a crowd-funding campaign for real dollars.

Re: RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016:: Six Flags Over the HFH

Interesting. BU hangs in despite a similar record and standings in RPI, KRACH and Pairewise. Most still waiting for this group to collapse?

They didn't lose to the last place team in teh WHCA.
