Not clear what caused NCAA Hockey to tweet this today, but it is worth posting.

Re: RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016:: Six Flags Over the HFH

And he bumps Brown up to #8 based on the possibility that their goaltending and defense aren't as bad as we think they are.

One thing to remember about Jeff Cox is that he tends to watch and scout a lot of NE prep hockey. These are not players we tend to get, and a lot of them go on to Hockey East or Ivies (such as Brown). Doesn't mean his predictions are wrong, but I think it causes his to favor these teams naturally, because he has seen more of their players through the years.

The ECAC middle is always a jumble, so even a few spots difference isn't a big deal. And they're just predictions.

Anyone going to UML Friday?

In case anyone doesn't know what the thread title refers to:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Job does come with some interesting views. <a href="http://t.co/kJ76VBl9X7">pic.twitter.com/kJ76VBl9X7</a></p>— Houston Field House (@RPI_HFH) <a href="https://twitter.com/RPI_HFH/status/651756219183595520">October 7, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Thanks to Josefine Hansen for making it six.

Isn't the east goal the one down at the other end, where the stage used to be?

Then maybe it's a good thing Ralph didn't put the longer title. ;) River's to the west, you go down the hill to the river, you can see down the hill from the windows, so it's the west end where the flags are.

Re: RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016:: Six Flags Over the HFH

Anyone know how healthy we are heading into a very tough weekend?

You're the doctor; aren't you supposed to be telling us that? :p *cough cough*

Nothing was apparent on the Slap Schotts radio show this morning in terms of that.

t was mentioned that Wiffen's problem had to do with his courses as a HS freshman or sophomore.

Pretty much confirms your theory that it's grades related. Surprising he wasn't able to try to get it higher through a private course or something while playing juniors, though...

Is anyone going to start the game thread? I won't since we lost last week with me starting it.
