RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016 (Part II): We want more banners, not more flags

Re: RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016 (Part II): We want more banners, not more flags

Speaking of streaming - has anyone subscribed to the "Ivy League Digital Network?

If you go here: http://www.ivyleaguedigitalnetwork.com/packages there is a monthly pass that "grants access to all games, events, and content for the entire league for 1 month" which I assume includes men's hockey. $16 and you'd get RPI vs. Brown, Yale, Harvard and Dartmouth over the next month if you subscribed by Friday- not a bad deal. Comments?

I have it and the quality is very good. The broadcasting is average, but the viewing quality has been great thus far for games at Harvard and the Ivy League teams they have traveled to play.

I have it, the quality is good, but you have to put up with the home town announcers. Brown has been the worst. Princeton was pretty good. Depends on the school.
It is worth the price.,

Any more pictures of SAJ with a beer? :D (I still remember that Governor's Cup pic)

I don't think that she was at the game since she did not participate in the opening puck drop along with Union's president. Then again, I wouldn't permit her to participate in such procedures after an incident when I was in Troy. :D

Wouldn’t you want to see her pretend bodyguards knock over the Union Pres. then take out the 2 Team Capt.s as they skate over for the drop?......all the while shouting, “make way for the Queen”. :D

Thinking of it that way, it could be a plus. :D

I have done it on occasions when we can get, like this year, 4 games. As others have mentioned, the quality varies but is fair to very good at times but the announcers make it so you have to leave WRPI on instead. That is fine as long as the sync is not too far out of whack. overall though it is definitely worth the price if you get 4 games.

Thanks to everyone who commented: I'll give it a whirl - and hope to hear a lot of disappointed home cooked announcers over the next 4 away games! Let's Go Red!!!!!!

You really learn to appreciate our boys on the radio more and more. RPI hockey and football could not ask for better coverage. Even when the football team has not been going well, Kurt can be hilarious. The hockey coverage is truly fair and neutral (well, mostly). it is difficult to remain neutral when you see how the officials treat us.

The entire condo where I live lost landline service which also means my DSL connection. Verizon is attempting to fix it now, but I have no idea when it will be fixed. I didn't realize originally that it was not only me so I made an appointment for them to come out tomorrow.

Anyway, I am now at a Starbucks and leaving soon.

I will catch up with posting recruit summaries -- whenever. :D
