RPI Hockey 2014-2015 Part II: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

Re: RPI Hockey 2014-2015 Part II: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

No Jimmy is doing fine. He is one of my all time favorite people. He is also a astute hockey observer he taught me a lot. I'll give you 2 examples He told me it was a shame things didn't work out with josh Jooris because he was going to be an NHL player some day and he is and he also told me that Greg Carey at SLU was going to score goals by the truck load and he did. Nothing was better than watching a game with Jimmy it was like going to a clinic. Patty is a class kid and his future is unlimited Jimmy raised him right !!! BTW Jimmy was quite the player himself he scored over 80 points 1 year in the OHL as a defenseman and put some time in the NHL with the Islanders.
....hmmmmm. I recall in an interview Yorkie did while he was on his run w/Columbus a reporter asked him who were some of the better players we might see come out of “his old college league”. Yorkie answered that 2 players he thought would play in the NHL were, Josh Jooris & Greg Carey.

Ralph does SLU stream their games for free. I remember watching one last year.

It's been answered. Even if it is free, it is hard to listen to their announcers. (Unless they have changed)

Is 55, #55 on this list?

Wow, that's quite a list!

I hope # 58 is totally inappropriate for this weekend.

I am really impressed to see # 39 on the list. That is a challenging song.

I also am quite surprised that "Three Blind Mice" is not on the list. You'd think that would have been a Band staple.

Most of these songs are not in the active set; 39 and 58 included.

Three Blind Mice is on the "cheer sheet", which are short ditties you hear during stoppages, with a couple of longer ones on there during timeouts. It can technically result in a bench minor for disrespect of officials so it isn't called, but that doesn't stop band members from playing it. Because the NCAA has gone to four mice, it has been essentially scrapped in favour of a Cee Lo Green song that is played when said crew is not performing up to par.

Three Blind Mice is almost exclusively a sousa thing now. This is the active setlist. Somehow all four of my songs are still "active", even though I think two of mine have never been played at a game (one for difficulty, one for terrible orchestration).

Usually difficult ones get played at the RMA concert.

Speaking of team announcers, it should be duly noted that Adlon Adams announced her last Yale game two Saturday's ago.
