RPI Hockey 2014-2015 Part II: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

Re: RPI Hockey 2014-2015 Part II: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

We played my senior year, 2008. Of course, the original drafts of the program had us pegged as a kazoo choir.

Real Mean Average. :D Rensselaer Music Association.

I figured it is the Royal Military Academy. ;)

Speaking of team announcers, it should be duly noted that Adlon Adams announced her last Yale game two Saturday's ago.

Sad to hear. She may have been one of the major reasons I agreed to have my cataract surgery. Although the sideline interview person for Springfield football was a close second. If Jenny sees any part of this post I will claim temporary insanity or PTSD.;)
BTW Jen's family (will explain this at some other time although i think ASPY understands) has SLU as a 6-1 favorite for this week's upcoming playoff series. i should have posted last week that they had Clarkson as a 3-2 favorite in the RPI series. When dealing with them, you are encouraged strongly to pay up quickly.

BTW, congrats on 1/6 of a million posts. :)

And I thought getting close to 40,000 for me was an accomplishment. Congrats to RB and one question-How have you avoided Carpal Tunnel Syndrome with all that typing???

Here is someone whom I would never have expected AA to interview, although considering the occasion, it isn't that unexpected. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Rs4l-K2aTE

Jimmy was one of the all time nice guys. Quick story, TB and I went to Colgate one year and it was snowing like a banshee, we lingered at the rink for a little while and when we went outside Jimmy was out cleaning the snow off our truck. Jimmy told great stories about his days in the O. Patty is and was a quality kid, I hope all his dreams come true.

PK is a great young man. Wish him well in everything.

You should gain ground far faster now that i don't get to post much during RPI games as i do not keep track of the penalties like I used to. I am thinking about tracking actual penalty minutes on the power play and short handed though. I would also like to keep track of face offs won but i would only consider those that are cleanly won and occur in either of the defensive zones. Center ice just do not seem to have the same significance for me.

Wow they are having a bloodletting on Mike Shafer over at ELynah. Hat tip to Fr Joe and Ralph pointing it out to me. Makes the Appert haters sounds like Mormom Tabernacle Choir.

People have expectations. I've stated mine many a time. If Appert can meet said expectations, I'm OK with him staying. Unlike the two groups of brainless people: One where he should be fired no matter what happens in the future, and the other where can do no wrong and is practically the second coming. No one is unforgivable, and no one receives immunity. Every year is a new chance to prove yourself.

It's actually quite nice to see that Schafer is having troubles with his system, but it will probably come around again.

IMHO, the average hockey knowledge among the Cornell and Clarkson fan bases which post is much higher than that among the #26 fan base. The problem with the Cornell fan base is that quite a few of them think that because they go to Cornell that they are superior in every manner to anyone else including those who attend(ed) other Ivy universities. By and large that attitude does not appear to be held by those Cornell fans who also post here.

Three Blind Mice is almost exclusively a sousa thing now. This is the active setlist. Somehow all four of my songs are still "active", even though I think two of mine have never been played at a game (one for difficulty, one for terrible orchestration).

Hmm... if Three Blind Mice is potentially controversial, I wonder if you could play "Do You See What I See" and avoid the controversy.... ;)

The Three Stooges theme sounds like it would be pretty challenging for band instruments to handle....

You talking about the old one? Because that IS the Three Stooges theme when Shemp was in the films.

Does the average person in the #26 fan base know the difference between a blue line and a clothes line? :p
