RPI Hockey 2014-2015 Part II: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

Probably overpriced, but in case any of you have a desire for an RPI game jersey. Curtis Leonard '12-'13 road sweater.

If that one isn't expensive enough, take a look at this one:

(I think that particular jersey was mentioned on the last thread, but not in the eBay context).

Looks like Jake Wood gets two games from the ECAC for the hit on Vasaturo.

A bit of a negative considering this was a game that meant nothing. I had hoped we would have approached it as a game that was meaningless and was more of a practice session. Hopefully there were no injuries to go along with this suspension. This weekend's game counts and we need everyone firing on all cylinders.

Typical bull from the league. Erik B gets three games for a hit on a Cornell player that played the next week and scored a goal. Wood gets two for a hit on Vasaturo, and that player will play next week, I guarantee it. Meanwhile, Brown's Dennis Robertson puts an almost-career-ending knee on Nick Bailen, and what does he get? NOTHING! Also, Union starts a fight last year, and the first person to receive league suspension is Appert. This is the biggest joke of a league ever.

Not condoning what Wood did, but its amazing how the Union bandwagon has forgotten about Bodies crosscheck last year that started the whole brawl.

It seems that the natural order of the universe dictates that a weekend cannot go by without an RPI player getting himself either injured or suspended.

Now that the statistical anomaly of Jan. 16-17 is out of the way, it appears that things are back to normal. :(

But we're the obsessed fanbase right? We're the one that has videos in our signatures about how another school itself aside from the hockey sucks, right? "WE NEED TO STOP BRINGING UP THE PAST!"

Funny enough, Wood is actually the only player on the RPI team that I think shouldn't be on the ice. He may not quite be a goon, but he seems to always be taking penalties at inopportune times and has difficulty restraining himself.

Every time we play Union, I can't help but roll my eyes a little harder.

Is there a link to Wood getting a two-game suspension?
