This would’ve carried more weight had I Posted it weeks ago but during the exh. game Drew’s Dad told me to expect a big season from Bourbonnais. :)

I guess that Drew's dad saw Bourbonnias two years ago when both Bourbonnais and Melanson were in the USHL.

RPI sweeps #26, and then the sun comes up earlier. Definitely a connection. ;)

G-d must have approved.

Still only two wins, and we have historically had a LOT of trouble against Harvard. Gotta concentrate for next week.

Yes, concentration is generally a good thing, but who do you think they just took two games from this weekend? Shenendehowa?

I'll take playing Harvard/Dartmouth at home coming off a 4-point weekend over Union over any other option out there. This team's confidence may be higher right now than it's ever been under Appert. Harvard opened their season last night and has one game under their belt. So I like the timing and the matchup and having another four points on the line this weekend. RPI is 2-3-3 against the Big H since 2010. Don't know that I'd call three losses in eight games a LOT of trouble. Seems more like two teams that play each other pretty tight. Are their areas for improvement? Of course...as DrD pointed out, we got slaughtered on faceoffs (last night too). But these were two big steps forward this weekend and this team's biggest accomplishment in many seasons.

We took two games from an ECAC opponent.

Taking one opponent over another is a trap. We wanted Brown in the 2013 playoffs because of our record, and got beat. And at least one of those ties we blew a lead. That's why we need to concentrate. The same stakes as last week are up for this week: four points. Let's work hard and see if we can take them.

Good weekend for the boys. Nice way to respond from the Bentley weekend. Now we turn our attention to the Ivy foes coming into town next weekend. Good things happen to those that believe.
