Pundits such as myself? I've been critical of this coach, I just choose to not complain about everything all the time and make a claim alluding to the idea that theyre not going to score another goal all season. It gets really tired to most ears and eyes.

Critical? Read the last two pages of your own posts again.

There's a big difference between rooting for success and facing reality. When you're a Buffalo Bills fan, it's much easier to understand this concept. Am I going to start rooting for Colgate? No. I'll always have pride in my alma mater. I want to see it have success. That being said, I do not have confidence that Appert will bring RPI that success, based upon the performance his teams have given since he started. If this can be proved otherwise, then by all means, the eyes and ears will remain open. Until that time, the position still stands.

This alumnus can't wait for an exciting weekend of passion and competitiveness from the boys. It's a reasonable outcome to expect from the last 3 games.

Yup, and it seems to me that [some] ... feel better continuing to complain .... The drivel is starting to get toxic.

For some people, complaining serves the same function psychologically that vomiting does physically.

I'm with you: if insist on vomiting, please do in your own bathroom and don't ask other people to clean it up after you are done.

yes, everyone at some point or another sees something that could be improved and comments about it....once, maybe twice....and then moves on.

Only an obsessive johnny-one-note keeps perseverating, and that is immature, selfish and inconsiderate in a social setting. If you are among people you consider to be friends (or even just acquaintances who share a common interest) and you have even the most basic and minimal social skills, you learn that there are times that reciprocity is a good thing and insisting otherwise is not "telling the truth" it is merely a passive aggressive way to mistreat others for your own gratification.

Hmm....what might be a way to deal with people who insist on mistreating others for their own gratification?

Offense takes longer to turn on. I hope Seth encourages tough forechecking, backchecking and no turnovers in the NZ. Let the goaltenders do their job, keep the game close and let these players go out and have some fun. It should be a great weekend. If the engineers go down a goal or two and you are going to **** and moan please just stay home.
Everyone knows people on this board aren't happy with Seth's results. Why harp on it? Start your own thread and anyone that wants to listen to you whine can go there.
Two things I know Seth isn't getting fired and the team will improve.

Re: RPI Hockey 2014-2015: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

No one's complaining about the goaltenders not doing their job. The complaints are that they're being effectively left to dry. If there's a lack of support in front, I don't care if you're Patrick Roy, you aren't going to have a good result if there's nothing in front of you.

This is a brand new weekend. Once again, RPI has a chance to prove themselves. Err on the side of caution for what the team will do, but hope for the best. Show you've actually practiced the offensive zone. If you come in front of a hot goalie, that's going to happen, some chances just won't work out. Let's see some chances generated, though.

Sorry.....but I have to disagree with some of the facts stated in this.............literature? All I know is that I bought a dozen donuts at Dunkin' in Latham yesterday, served by SA. I pulled away, stopped, opened the box and there were only 11 donuts in the box. When I looked back, SA and RB were sharing my donut!!

They were probably toasting Don Koharskie. ;)

Re: RPI Hockey 2014-2015: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

None of the events of the past three weeks caused me to want to adjust my entry in the "pick the standings" contest. It's a long season, and we tripped at the starting line. That happens. Plenty of time to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and start all over again.

Re: RPI Hockey 2014-2015: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

Still only one win. And still no chance for a tournament berth with two losses to Bentley.

Re: RPI Hockey 2014-2015: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

My god, we just took down union in our barn in a statement game and you still find a reason to complain, and already start talking about NCAA berth chances?

He's complains so much, my ignore list wishes that it had an ignore list.
