RPI @ Harvard, Saturday, 2/22/25

Giesbrecht gave up a rebound that dribbled to his right - he lost sight of it and St. Louis tapped it in.
I watched the replay a couple of times. I think Giesbrecht will want that one back. A gut punch for RPI. Had a chance or two after that, but the Harvard goalie was up for the challenge. Really tough loss for RPI, but I appreciated the fight back in the 3rd.

The boys have definitely not quit - fans should not either. They played a really good third period and were a fraction away from keeping it a 2-2 game (St. Louis barely got his stick on the puck in time to score that last goal) and taking it to an overtime which could have gone either way. If they maintain 9th place, they will be on the road against the 8th place team and they have shown that as a road team they can give almost anyone a lot to be concerned about.

It is frustrating that the team played better tonight and lost, while Giesbrecht stole one for us on Friday.
Next week won't be easy, but we will be home playing in front of what should be a decent crowd on senior night.
The way this season has gone in the ECAC, everyone is beatable.
Lets go RED!!!
