RPI @ Harvard 1-19-24

No Cross of Cambridge for RPI.
First time all season that Harvard scored 6 goals in a game.
Let’s see if we can beat Dartmouth tomorrow night to stay out of the basement…

That was disappointing.

Probably about 2 levels below disappointing. So many aspects tonight that were just bad. Watson just never seemed comfortable in the crease. The usual problems with special teams and defense. We allowed a team that averages 2 goals per game, who rarely scores more than 2, to get 6.

Does anyone know why Dave and the team is no longer doing pre / post game interviews? No more Talkin-neers podcast. Nothing from RPITV on YouTube.... Not that it would be terribly exciting to listen to this year, but I do kinda miss it. Only the Roger Wyland radio show and that's in the middle of the day not not available to listen to online...

Many times its simply because we (the WRPI crew) if we're at the game, just don't have the time to do it. We usually get there 1.5-1 hour before the game, and we're setting up and Dave is doing his thing, so its a timing issue. We need to solve our broadcaster issue first then get back to doing the things we're used to doing. As far as the other items, I can't comment on, but I suspect with RPITV it has something to do with the contract that ESPN has with the league that nothing hockey-related can be produced independently. I'm not positive though.

Thanks Jericho - I moved my question to the main thread thinking that was the more appropriate place to inquire, but I appreciate your response and insight!
