EHF: Although it is going to be hard to do, we have to avoid even giving them any opportunity to make a call. Thee were some obvious penalty calls let go so far but you can just feel they will start the whistles if given the chance.I have been waiting for the referees to take over this game, and now I think we will see that in the third period. Not good for the Engineers if that happens.
RPI penalty (Bourbonnais) at the 20 minute mark
Hi everyone, good game so far, eh?
Other scores, near end of 2nd period...
Harvard & Yale tied at 1
Dartmouth 4, Brown 3
SLU 4, Union 3
And, of course, no matching call so it was a one dimensional rough.
Any time we can be on the road, especially in the North Country, and take a lead into the third period it is indeed a good game. We have had this situation fairly often this year but it remains to be seen if we have yet found the trick to holding and preserving the lead.Hi everyone, good game so far, eh?
Not necessarily matching but what precipitated our #14 coming in was not exactly an invitation to a tea party. There were a couple of high hits that were just let go a minute or less before. They just showed a replay on the video, and there wasn't much reason for a matching on that one. He just came barreling in. Have there been some head-hits and cross-checks? Yes. What is called in the third is left to be seen.
SLU now up 6-3 with 3 to go in the second. Larries scored three in a four minute span. Kupsky, not Sak, playing for Union tonight.

Nate has now been gone long enough for the program to begin to seek it's own level. That's the Union hockey we know and love.
Discipline Doc, discipline.
