I know SA is very aggressive at pulling his goalie when down-why not pull Merriam for the last penalty on CCt?

It's really hard to believe the offense won't come sometime soon...too many goal scorers amongst the freshman class. They just need some time...just hope not much longer ;).

Just trying to figure out his master plan-if you pull the goalie down 3-0 then certainly you pull him down 3-1 and on the power play. Empty netter makes it 4-1

Really a pathetic effort by RPI tonight. Total lack of composure, smarts, and energy. Awful.

4-1 Clarkson. Well, that was a disappointing game. Not bailing on our team yet, but...something needs to shift. The hyperextended kill in the 2nd was fantastic, though.

Final CCT over RPI 4-1 and a pretty disappointing start to the league season. Lots of negatives tonight. Bad clears from the defensive zone, poor offensive pressure with few chances, loss of composure during the second period-hope we can right this ship soon.

There have been a lot of positives to take from most of RPI's games this season. No such luck tonight. A terrible outing from top to bottom.

Credit CCT for showing up and earning the win. RPI mired in a familiar pattern -- d zone clear failures, bad penalties, inept PP, inability to win faceoffs. I'm all for tough gritty play, but blatantly planting the opposing goalie is just dumb...sorry can't sugar coat it. You can't win with your upperclassmen when they're sitting in the bin. RPI 11 pens/33 mins. :mad:

I'll stop now. Promise I'll be in a better mood tomorrow.

WRPI announcers stated that PA announcer declared "10min game misconduct"
