RPI @ Clarkson (Friday, 11/4/11)

Re: RPI @ Clarkson (Friday, 11/4/11)

We might see some benchings for tomorrow night...

I've been expecting some for a while for sloppy play...unfortunately, like Coach said in his interview with Ken Schott, with all the injuries we don't have much of a choice but to play anyone who's healty.

I'm surprised that AAG was serving Merriam's penalty.

CCT goes off for tripping.

4v4 for 31 seconds. Then RPI PP.

burgie - it has to be someone on this ice, and we had our best two d-men out there as our only other options.
I knew that. Didn't know that it was just AAG and two d-men (not watching, just listening / watching the WaP twitter feed), I thought we had another forward that we could throw in there.

The good-we killed one of the longest 5 on 3 against situations without giving up anything. The bad-where do I start? Much of it has to be the officials tonight. But we are giving them the opportunity to make the calls with some poor decisions.

Doc, we were awful before the refs got into the game.
Hopefully, we come out with a different attitude and actually try to score some goals.
I have been at two games this season, and the team played much better against better opposition. I hope they didn't think that Clarkson was going to lay down in there own building. :(

They never do.

Hopefully getting through those penalties will give the team a boost.

I agree-we have set the stage for a lot of this with some poor play and poor decisions. But a few of the calls just seem odd. But then again, I have seen Murphy ref often over the years and nothing surprises me in his games.
