RPI at Yale, 2/19/2022

Johnson beats Agnew then scores on a backhand. Yes, the first was shorthanded. Now 2-0 at the end of first period.
 
The Yale rink is my least favorite in the ECAC, and I have been in them all (except QU and Colgate...I was in their old barns). Don't really know what I dislike about the Yale rink but it just doesn't seem like a comfortable place to watch a hockey game.

Two biggest negatives - bench seats and it's Yale. The sight lines are OK, but the best view is the standing room from the aisle that runs 360 degrees around the rink.

True. SLU has bench seats but also has the charm of a small town hockey rink.
 
Yikes! These boys better start finishing their scoring chances. We need another haggerty or polachek. Zero snipers on this team

And that’s the story on this year’s team. Biggest problem is when they fall behind, they don’t have enough firepower to get back in the game. Which explains the fact that we have not won a game all season when trailing after 2 periods.
 
Yikes! Jake Johnson loses the puck in his skates and gives up a point block shot...Watson save.
 
Was going to go the ESPN+ route now that the movie is over but down 2-0 makes me think the money could go to better use.
