RPI at UMA, preseason, 10/6/24

A very pleasant surprise to hear that RPI won, though what I read on this thread leaves the details fuzzy in my mind.

Did Beaton score an overtime goal in the 3-on-3 situation? Or did RPI win it in a shootout?

Either way, it's something RPI didn't do very often last year. Hope they continue to win these kinds of games this year.

Beaton scored in OT. They had a shootout just for practice, and we won again.

Some things were very fuzzy even when listening since the announcers were pretty poor. IMO, they weren't biased, just poor. They ignored RPI, just saying numbers. I don't think that they ever mentioned that RPI switched goalies, apparently at the start of the third period.
