RPI at RIT, Friday, November 25, 2011

lugnut92

Conductor emeritus
I get to start a thread! A game between the school I attend and the one people think I attend! Hopefully RPI can pull out a win after the 10-day break.

Re: RPI at RIT, Friday, November 25, 2011

I get the feeling that we got to start now. This team has to start to feel they can score goals and win games. I will bei nterested to see what changes SA makes for tonight. Sometimes you just need to shake up things to get it going. Let's Go Red!!

Re: RPI at RIT, Friday, November 25, 2011

On my way out, heading up to Rochester....GO GO GO....YOU RED RED RED!!!!!!!

Re: RPI at RIT, Friday, November 25, 2011

Hope those RIT fellows had a good Thanksgiving and ate a LOT of turkey yesterday. :)

Lines http://www.rpiathletics.com/documents/2011/11/25/MHKY_Lines_RIT.pdf?id=1144

scratches: Leboeuf, Neal, Cullen, Burgdoerfer, Smith, Coupal

Diebold in goal.

I asked for a bit of a shake up and I got it. I really have to say I like some of the lines-love that second line and like Malchuk on the first line. It goes without saying-I love seeing Luke getting in the line up for some experience. 7 frosh in the line up with only Neal missing. Go Red!! Let's make it 1 in a row!!!

Is WRPI broadcasting the women's game instead of the men's game today? That's what the announcer just stated.

The WRPI schedule says they are doing the men's game. They have done far fewer women's games than normal this year, for some reason, and I'm sure they are not about to do one when it conflicts with a men's game. However, I'm probably one of the few on this board who would be happy either way.

Re: RPI at RIT, Friday, November 25, 2011

WRPI is not covering the Women's game, we're announcerless here at the Field House for the Women's game A1 Broadcast.

Any word who is in net for RIT?

If the words are coming from anyone other than the WRPI sports department, I'd take them with many grains of salt. WRPI's DJs frequently know very little about the sports events - case in point, at the end of a game earlier this season, it cut back to the DJ who said "and we're back from RPI hockey, where the final score was RPI wins!".

That was my original thought, but ...

Will we be able to get RPI TV video of the game?

Alas no, this is just a single camera commentaryless stream for A1, technically not an RPI TV production, but Athletics often has us run their coach's camera for Women's games that we aren't covering with our full setup.

Re: RPI at RIT, Friday, November 25, 2011

Rather subdued interview with SA-he mentioned that Luke is back in tonight after playing himself out of the line up earlier in the year (I must have missed it-he seemed to be quite good in the 2 games he played) but that he has earned his way back in during practice.
