Can RPI “engineer” a win in Orono for the first time in almost 30 years (last time 11/27/93)?
Let’s get the season off to a great start…. LGR!
 
We are considered a 1.5 goal underdog for tonight. This is the start of a very difficult 4 game Hockey East road trip that will give us a very early indication of what we can expect for early in the season. Lots of new faces and I expect it will take some time for them to work together. Liked some of what i saw in the 2 exhibition games from the new fellows but tonight is a whole different level of competition they face with an excellent goal tender. Let's Go Red!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a chance to watch this one. We are heading to our local fine dining restaurant (actually a sports bar/dive with great food and the hottest women bartenders and servers!! - Hope Jenny does not read this). They subscribe to all the sports channels and get BET+ and ESPN+. Only problem is that when they are crowded most that frequent the place want to watch football or some other boring sport and I cannot convince them to tune into the RPI hockey games. Last weekend we did get to see the Women @ Bemidji St for the second game and I am hoping the place is almost vacant on a Thursday night so I can get to see this one against Maine. May only stay for the first and/or second period but really want to get a good idea of how we play against very decent competition.
