I saw the game at Starr last year. Starr had another feature... during the intermissions Colgate provided food (mac and cheese, pretzels) for spectators. Starr was their hockey and basketball venue. the two arenas were adjacent to each other, sharing a lobby.
The seating for hockey wrapped around the rink, maybe four or five rows deep. It reminded me a little bit of Walker Rink at CCT. Union's Salt Dome had a little more seating than old Starr; somehow the Salt Dome manages to be more antiseptic than Starr.
Thanks for the update. I’ve been to Walker Rink in the past. The first time I saw it I thought it was their practice facility. There was only about 3 rows on the sides (row 1 was so low to the ice that if you were under 5 feet tall, you had to stand up to watch the game). And for those who did not know, Starr Rink was used in the infamous movie Shapshot.
