Hooray! Anybody take Bryce in the PtC tonight?
Kudos to RPI for a great game played! As for Brown, we clearly have some soul-searching to do. It was just a pitiful performance from start to beginning, and we deserved to lose by 8 rather than just 3. That was literally the worst I've seen us play in about a decade, because not only did we play dumb hockey and make mistakes and bad decisions, but we gave no effort, as well. What a joke.
Again, congrats on a fine performance, especially from the goalie at the end.
Often times hockey is just a game of match ups. For some odd reason this season we just seem to match up well with Brown. Perhaps it is style of play or personnel. I am thankful for it because we just do not have that kind of thing going against anyone else this year. Brown is a solid club and will have no problem rebounding from this but unfortunately they get Union tomorrow and that is one team that you just cannot make any mistakes against or allow to play on special teams against you. See you guys in the playoffs-that's when these games will really get tough.
Wow, now I don't even get credit for my own postsWell said, Doctor. It would seem that this matchup has favored RPI for the past 15 years or so...in fact, after the game in November, I believe I said the same thing and someone (flagdude, potentially) showed me that RPI was something ridiculous like 14-2 against us recently (excluding playoffs, obviously).
