Something went wrong. I can't imagine a truck mounted refrigeration plant is standard operating procedure for commissioning a new ice making system. The good news, I guess, is that it would imply the piping is functional so the process can get started, but any time they use a temporary system I get chills (no pun intended). How many years did we use a "temporary" complete system after the 1982 system failed?

Sounds like the chiller unit is not working. I thought the entire system was being replaced? Including the outside unit?

Not a good weekend for RPI football or RPI ladies hockey. Some of this was expected (hockey) but the shellacking we took from Brockport State was not predicted as we were about a 7 point underdog.

Everything is/was being replaced. New chiller equipment is in place. The arrival of the trailer mounted units at this late date is disconcerting ... although I am no expert in refrigeration construction or commissioning...

I have zero knowledge of this stuff except that it is supposed to be cold! Jenny says I have the most skewed education of anyone knowing only 4 things well. Medicine for sure, jewelry and watches, furs and women. The last one only because I was a psychiatrist and those ladies are just wired totally different. You cannot hope to fully understand them and even with specific training you can be greatly surprised. I wake up every morning for 51 years next to Jen and each day is like an E-Ticket ride at Disney World! You never know what to expect!!!!!

Who the hell knows what went wrong? Definitely disconcerting.

By no means an authority but I did notice a consistent trend covering many decades of things they universally hated and loved by overwhelming majorities with few exceptions. Not a second or a dime for what they hated but however long it took, however far they had to travel when applicable or however much money it cost for what they loved. Sometimes that money was mine!!!

Things they absolutely deplored at least at one time and still do whenever they appear on a screen in syndication. Star Trek, The Three Stooges and Andy Kaufman. Though not all that relevant any more, once upon a time the latter literally made some of them ill.

Buying clothes, buying shoes, buying jewelry, buying accessories, Expensive dining out with wine and/or cocktails, Engelbert Humperdinck live and in person even now at age 90 (still expensive nonetheless) and relatively more recently Hallmark movies which is the only thing on the list that does not entail buying or expensive.

The key words to what makes them tick appear to be buying and expensive regardless of who is paying for it. Surprised there is something on the like list that doesn't cost anybody anything.

Nope - her favorite actor goes way back to the 50's. Steve Reeves (the original Hercules). I believe we have all 19 or so of his movies on DVD.
