Would take him seeing as how slim the options at goalie are barring EL having a trick up his sleeve. I think Krawchuk is much better of a recruit than Sanborn. The difference between the OHL and OJHL can’t be understated and I think Krawchuk has started potentialAnybody want Kyle Chauvette? I assume Union plans to hand the keys to the Michigan transfer as Chauvette entered the portal today. He seemed OK when I've seen him, but he also had the benefit of a better defensive team. If he's graduating he might be an OK option along with Krawchuk (if he's still coming) for a year while we see if Sanborn's rebirth is sustained in a higher level league (also dependent on his advisors and Lang still seeing him in Troy).
I think every coach in the league knows chauvette`s weak spots. No thanks from me. I agree with your sentiments on the two that we at least think are coming in.Would take him seeing as how slim the options at goalie are barring EL having a trick up his sleeve. I've heard from some Union fans that they felt this position needed an upgrade. The Michigan transfer's brother is going to be a senior on the Union team.I think every coach in the league knows chauvette`s weak spots. No thanks from me. Regarding Tyler Wallace not just good on Face offs (54.7%) but he also took 875 of them last year.Big kid 6'2 188 left shot, good % on faceoffs.

In the two games that he played against RPI last year, he won 32 of 53 faceoffs and had a goal and 2 assists with no penalties. Happy to have him!Regarding Tyler Wallace not just good on Face offs (54.7%) but he also took 875 of them last year.
I’m actually cautiously optimistic on Sanborn. He was a highly regarded recruit when he committed, but he struggled for whatever reason moving from prep to junior hockey while playing on a really bad team in the middle of nowhere BC. After a few starts in other places this year he found his game and has been outstanding the OJHL. Goaltenders, more than any other position, can come from unusual places. Our best goalie of the last dozen years or so came straight out of Junior B. It’s about seeing rubber. I’d like to see Sanborn move to a better league and a less dominant team to see if he’s a product of a dominant Trenton team or the victim of a bad Prince George’s lineup.Would take him seeing as how slim the options at goalie are barring EL having a trick up his sleeve. This is a fun debate.. How do you rank Savory, York, Kasdorf 1-3?I’m actually cautiously optimistic on Sanborn. I have a similar opinion about Sanborn. I wonder what Lang thinks. I hope that we get a goalie this year with one or two years remaining to play to go along with Krawchuk.I’m actually cautiously optimistic on Sanborn.
