An actual hockey on ice topic. I suspect he’s done but if another goal scorer fell from the sky he’d be welcome. I was surprised that Elias was even rumored to be coming because we already had 9 defensemen, including three right shots to complement Goffredo (Russell, Sobieski and Hilditch).
If these two guys were even considering coming there must be some scholarship money available, but that makes me wonder if there is enough or whether our “NIL problem” may have combined with playing under the 18 scholarship limit (while Merrimack can now offer 26) to make the numbers just not work. Only the NCAA could have blundered itself into such a broken and segregated system.
