Go to Signal 30 BBQ in Cohoes, or if not in the mood for that, Durrant’s at Van Schiack, also in Cohoes. Never had a bad meal there. I don’t drink, so can’t attest to the drinks, but they look incredible when they come out.

Edit: Durrant’s is on the site of where RPI first played their game, outside on the pond at Van Schiack Island. If you go about 209 feet from the front door of Durrant’s, you’ll be standing on one of the original red lines.

4-1 northeastern after 1. That’s the RPI I’ve come to love. Zero defense being played northeastern looks like they’re on a perpetual power play. The Field house is a morgue. No energy in the building. It’s pretty sad

I understand your frustration. I’m frustrated also, but they just signed Smith to a 5-year contract extension. They are NOT going to eat 4-years worth of contracts just to bring someone else in. Expect him here at least 2 more years before they would consider a change.

Well its gonna be a long 2 yrs because we have more of the same in the pipeline and if any player that vaguely resembles a D1 hockey player doesn't either leave or decommit they are getting bad advice!

We don’t know how his contract is structured. Something tells me theirs an off ramp for RPI built into his contract. What I do know is this program is going nowhere fast under Dave smith. Top to bottom it’s going nowhere. 9-2 on home ice? We’re not just losing we’re getting embarrassed.

Word at the time of Dave's signing around town was that there is no guaranteed $$$ in the deal. Marty needs to do something quick about this situation. Clearly, Dave has lost the room and they are not playing for him.

Very sad. You and I are old enough to remember when RPI would be mentioned to be a possible member of Hockey East, I think on several occasions when they had an odd # of teams. We just got punked 9-2 by the last place team in HE that has no conference wins! Marty has got to put his arms around this fast. It's an embarrassment.
 
You know it’s a bad situation when the best things today were the replacement window table at the west entrance, the youth hockey mini game between periods, and the young girls dancing and doing somersaults in front of section 6.

Yeah something is very off about this team. They’re not playing for him. If theirs no guaranteed $$$ Marty needs to clean house. I just can’t get over the fact we passed over Barr for this bullshit. Talk about a bad decision.

Barr's not walking through that door. Be happy for him with the success he is having in Orono and the rewards that will likely come with it. It's a bigger stage and better payoff career-wise than he could ever get here.

I hardly ever agree with you but you're right. Sad though that RPI Hockey is thought of so poorly.

No shit he’s not walking through the door. I’d be happy if RPI hockey wasn’t a complete joke. Good for him I’ll cheer for Barr all day. Barr has elevated Maine back to relevance in 3 years. Smith has somehow made us worse in 7 years.
