Linden Marshall was nominated for this https://fanforum.uscho.com/showthre...nd-Beyond)!!&p=6919338&viewfull=1#post6919338. Didn't expect him to win.

Re: RPI 2020 Off-season: Off-season Cancelled

Considering that all we have won are two second-team All-ECAC selections, we have definitely been greater than the some of the parts. The one that bothers me the most, and I am not the only one, is that Coach Smith didn't win the CotY,

Re: RPI 2020 Off-season: Off-season Cancelled

Unless I missed someone, no current or known future RPI players are listed. A could of former recruits are mentioned near the end of the NA skaters (GwF 212 and AS 200).

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The NHL Central Scouting Midterm Rankings are now available – 2020 <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/NHLDraft?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#NHLDraft</a> <a href="https://t.co/ov0kW1i5BS">https://t.co/ov0kW1i5BS</a></p>— NHL Central Scouting (@NHLCentralScout) <a href="https://twitter.com/NHLCentralScout/status/1216754150580588544?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 13, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Edit: Never mind, this is a retweet from January. :o I believed this tweet from the St. Michael's Buzzers as being new information. I should have realized something was fishy when they said OHL.

Feel similar but how can you argue against a coach that has a team that loses only 2 games all season? Perhaps if there was one other team close enough to that number but there wasn't any.

Re: RPI 2020 Off-season: Off-season Cancelled

Now the off-season can really begin. We lost to Cornell in the simulated game... :(

Re: RPI 2020 Off-season: Off-season Cancelled

I liked is comments about Ture Linden.

Ture Linden is one of those players that DS should be applauded tremendously for finding him under the radar. He may not be recruiting blue-chippers, but he is getting some great players who were ranked well below what they should have been as recruits. Linden, Hallbauer, Gornall, Leppanen and of course, Savory as examples that come to mind for me

I leave the sophisticated recruiting trail analysis to others, but to echo your compliments, I think there has been solid recruiting overall of the defensemen. Yes, some work is still needed, but even with Will graduating we have several versatile defensemen who are able handle the puck and add a different dimension to our offensive set up. This added dimension is, to me, a notable difference from recent years.

Total yes to all of this. Have been talking about this most of the year and it has just become more obvious as the season wore on. Expect this to be a mjor strength for us next year
