Congratulations and best wishes to Seth. After his hiring was announced, he did a couple of press conferences in which he addressed questions about RPI. I thought people might be interested in watching them.

Press conference with hockey media:
  • Questions about what happened at the end of his RPI tenure are at the 4:58 and 14:54 marks
  • He has general reflections about being a college hockey head coach around the 18:34 mark
  • Seth is asked about former RPI player, and Rochester native, Riley Bourbonnais at the 29:06 mark
  • For local media fans, Ken Schott from the Schenectady Gazette asks questions at the 12:03 mark, but not about RPI
1-on-1 conversation with Amerks media staffer:
  • Transition from RPI is discussed at 9:02 and 12:17 marks (Seth is first asked which city RPI is located in)
  • RPI players who played for both Seth and the Amerks are discussed beginning at 11:02 (D'Amigo, Kasdorf, and E. Burgdoerfer--the latter is overlooked by the interviewer, but Seth corrects the record)

Congrats to Seth. Interesting organization to join, given the tumult and questionable treatment of the previous staff. Regardless, AHL is a good opportunity to show what he can do.
 
My first post since they redid the site. Hope this goes through...
I was just going through my checkbook and noticed that I paid for last years season tickets on 8/15. Haven’t seen an application for this year yet. If and when it shows up, I will let everyone know.
Oh, and congrats to Seth on his new HC job in the AHL. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
 
The fieldhouse staff just got off furlough on 8/17. They are still getting caught up. Don't expect to hear anything regarding season tickets soon. Season is all but guaranteed to not be starting in October. They're still putting down the ice Labor Day weekend, but not all of the players will even be back by then. Some are already back at RPI though at least
