Re: RPI 2020 Off-season: Off-season Cancelled

Today is 9 June 2020. There are 116 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 3 October 2020 for the start of next season.

A bit confusing for an old timer like myself. Not sure how much I like all of this yet but will give it a try!

I just checked the football schedule on the RPIathletics website. It indicates that the scheduled opening game against Montclair State has been canceled.

Since there is no indication that any of the other games on RPI's schedule are affected, my guess is that the request to cancel came from Montclair State.

I’m with you Doc. Right now I can’t stand the change.

I can't stand it at all. Posting tweets doesn't seem to work, although one can of course post a link to it. Although it seems that one can post smiley's they don't seem to appear. I like having the newest post at the top, but the work around which was posted causes several other problems. Yadda, yadda, yadda.

Re: RPI 2020 Off-season: Off-season Cancelled

Jersey number predictions for the incoming group:
John Beaton - #8
Jack Brackett - #24
Dylan Davies - #3
Jake Gagnon - #17
James McIsaac - #12
Brett Miller - #30
Henri Schreifels - #26
Shane Sellar - #10
Lauri Sertti - #27

Last year, I got literally every single one wrong :D
Hoping for a better result this year

Brett Miller is #30, and James McIsaac is #8. So far I am 1/3 (since Beaton cannot be #8)

It doesn't seem to be easier to navigate. Old dog...new tricks... Maybe someone can post a couple of quick tips so that we can figure out how to use the board the same way that we used to. Maybe a new thread from the Moderator?

There are a couple of threads in the Cafe for that purpose. Some problems do not seem to be solvable.

I guess that, being from a good technical school, we should be happy that the new format allows us to use subscripts and superscripts.

e[SUP]x [/SUP]dy dx, e[SUP]x[/SUP] dx :D

Edit - There was supposed to be a smiley with a big grin at the end of the cheer there. I guess the smileys aren't working yet.

One of the best cheers in college hockey, even for this management major.
btw, add me to the list of people who do not like the new format
