RPI 2020 Off-season: Off-season Cancelled

Re: RPI 2020 Off-season: Off-season Cancelled

Cashman's been gone from the Q for several years. He was an assistant for the Caps the last couple of years. The Vermont job also went to an NHL assistant. I hope for Ben's sake that isn't the start of a trend.

I just missed your your email last night.

I think you're on to something pointing out the recent trend of NHL assistants scoring the college head coaching jobs.

It looks like there is yet another contest going on.

Re: RPI 2020 Off-season: Off-season Cancelled

Still nothing about the schedule. I would expect to see it, even though there are questions about if we will play, and if we play, when.

We know we're going to Army West Point for a game. We know we have 2 games with Canisius again. We know we have 1 or 2 games vs Northeastern. And lastly, we know we have the Mayor's Cup. That's 5 or 6 games. I expect 1 or 2 more Hockey East teams on there.

I should have written "nothing official".

Re: RPI 2020 Off-season: Off-season Cancelled

I knew that you meant nothing official. I just wanted to add in that we know those opponents unofficially.

I while back you posted a list of the dates that the schedules have been released in recent years. Do you still have that, or do you remember about when it was posted here? I have never gone through the effort of compiling that although I have the dates when our recruits have been announced.

I couldn't find it in my posts, Ralph. Maybe you'll have better luck than me? I think it was posted before the schedule was released last offseason, but I could not find it.

Don't search for it Ralph. I just went on the athletics website and found them all fairly quickly.

Re: RPI 2020 Off-season: Off-season Cancelled

I realize scheduling matters matter.

But something has come to my attention that I must bring to your attention:

Puckman's Wikipedia page is totally deficient! Totally lost in translation, it's PacMan!

I believe that we have the assembled skill sets here to do something about that.

I trust you to be the embodiment of Knowledge and Thoroughness! Go to it!

There is no separate page for Puckman. There is a redirect to the hockey team's page. Apparently PacMan was originally called Puckman, so one can go there also. Someone could crate a separate page for Puckman, I suppose.
