Well I can't see it hurting, but a direct effect isn't likely. My understanding of the job is to identify/sort/funnel kids into the USHL ...the output of kids leaving the USHL for College careers is more about their development while in the league.

But nonetheless, I've had the pleasure of knowing Luke and his family since his days in Troy ...a great guy who knows a ton about the game. Good luck to the BRO!!! His dad would be proud no doubt.

So I checked the RPI site and the "roster" is posted "as of" today. No freshmen are included. The new AC is listed as well.

I asked my niece’s Magic 8 ball if RPI will finally make it to Lake Placid this year and it said “let’s wait and see”. Even a toy isn’t optimistic. :D

To be fair, "let's wait and see" is better than "Don't count on it." or "My reply is no." or "My sources say no." or "Outlook not so good." or "Very doubtful." :)

I think that the magic 8 ball has it right. College hockey is like a box of chocolates.
