RPI 2019 Off-Season: Where Did Everyone Go?

I was just giving examples of players from our team who haven't been invited. You do realize though that Hayhurst scored 12 goals the season prior? He also was averaging a point per game prior to his injury on one of the worst offensive teams in the country. Leppanen had 19 points in his freshman season on an offensively deficient team. They are by no means major snubs, but they are for sure better than many random players I have seen who have gotten invites.

On the otherhand, Savory is a major snub. He's the best returning goaltender in the ECAC and had one of the best save percentages in the country despite only being a freshman.

Invite or no invite, undrafted kids who perform well at the D1 level will get noticed and have options, post graduation. As SS pointed out, non-drafted camp invitees are largely cannon fodder for the teams' A list players. It ain't that big of a deal. Most D1 kids are skating/working out with other college players and/or pros in the summer.

Ottawa doing something different at their Development Camp. They’re going with a 3x3 Tourney to finish up camp. Cuts were made today to get down to 18 players. Burgess was a cut.

The ice has melted in my neighbor hood. How about yours? ;)

Anyone see the article in the Times Union about Shirley's compensation?

Knew I forgot something the other day... https://www.timesunion.com/news/article/RPI-President-Jackson-earned-5-8-million-14047218.php

$3.6M of President Jackson's total compensation was in deferred compensation which is often used as a tool to retain an employee. Perhaps the Board of Directors thought Dr. Jackson needed an inducement to stay at dear old RPI?

Union released their schedule which confirms @ sUCks 10-25, vs sUCks 10-26, Mayor's Cup vs sUCks 1-25. Also noticed that they play Canisius the first weekend of November so that eliminates that weekend for when we potentially play them

I was wondering when the SAJ compensation package would arise in the forum. And I am curious. Is the $20 million (or whatever the figure promised for the hockey program/HFH was) being held in deferred spending to retain the season ticket holders? Perhaps they know what is coming on the ice and figure we need an inducement to keep subscribing.

Boston just released their Roster. Cross them off.........EDIT; Buffalo just released theirs as well. That leaves Chicago (Chicago’s camp is in July) & Calgary.
Calgary released their Roster. No one from here. Thus, Chicago is the last team.
