It better not be the third guy. His name would be harder to spell than Nona Letuligasenoa's really given name.

That's an easy name. I'm sure you and I have had more misspellings... although I do believe there's another poster that takes the cake... :p

Re: RPI 2017 Off-Season (Part II): Mr. Smith Goes to Troy

WaP tweeted something similar to this about two weeks ago. Of the 16 forwards which I expect to see in the lineup, only two have two seasons or more of college hockey experience, senior to be Viktor Liljegren (3) and junior to be Jesper Ohrvall (2). Evan Tironese has slightly over a year of experience. Although a junior to be, Brady Wiffen has only played for one year. Four others have one year of experience (Hayhurst, Marrello, Polino, and Reisinger). Eight, that is half of the 16, have yet to play a game, red-shirt Todd Burgess and seven freshmen (Payne, Stout, E. Ohrvall, Jerry, Burke, Richards, and York). Not counting Tironese's few games in 15-16, that is an average of 0.6875 years per forward. That is amazingly small.

The goalie situation is similar at 0.666... with two years for Perry (including the one at CC) and none for the others.

I guess that it is good that others might want to hear about our power play. :)

Looks like it's a seminar about coaching hockey. I assume nothing specific to RPI, other than the location and who is hosting it.

It seems like a smart move. Kids are committing at younger ages so the staff needs relationships with lower-level junior and prep coaches. By the time guys are in the USHL, BCHL, etc. the best ones are already committed. If they can attract coaches from some of the better NY/NJ/NE pipeline schools and programs it may pay off, albeit in 3+ years.

No chatter on the new Las Vegas NHL club being called the Golden Knights?

OK - I'll start...One minute and Clarkson still sucks and remember to tip your waitresses! Meh.

What happens in Potsdam stays in Potsdam?

Seems like a lot of the, “talking-heads”, are infatuated with the chants coming from the Nashville fans as if they’ve never heard anything like it. Here’s a suggestion from the HC of the Nepean Raiders (CCHL)...... <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Everyone's so amazed with the Nashville chants... Start watching college hockey.</p>— Darcy Findlay (@darcyfindlay6) <a href="https://twitter.com/darcyfindlay6/status/871910481468039168">June 6, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
