Taking a look at the Academic Calendar, at least the dorms will be open for the Harvard/Dartmouth weekend. Not sure if it will mean rudimentary band, but at least UML will be the only home game where non-"local" students (or at least those within a driving radius) won't be quite boisterous.

They could have an open tryout for the 3rd goalie and perhaps for an extra forward (which Rappaport said he would have an opportunity to be).

Brandon Pirri now a NY Ranger, 1-year $1.1M

Rangers now loaded with forwards and little cap room.

Hopefully I can see lots of him from the Blue Seats this season.

Congratulations to Brandon.
He'll fit right in with the other Ranger forwards, all offense and no defense.
I'm surprised he didn't get a bigger pay check. Hope he does well and makes RPI proud.

I saw numerous articles saying that Rangers reportedly signed BP. Did you see anything official?

Elliotte Friedman was just on NHL Tonight & said again, Pirri to NYR. Possibly waiting to tomorrow for an official word........ The Rangers are close to signing free-agent forward Brandon Pirri to a one-year contract, a source said Thursday. Canada’s Sportsnet also reported that a deal appeared to be near. Before four and a half years ago he represented Slovakia at the Junior World Cup in Calgary if sympathetic sixth contributed two goals and three assists. Yeah, the Pirri thing got started here. I’ve been Posting it on the Alumni Thread to try & bring it back to there. It is much more convenient to have the 3 Threads when you want to look up info.
