Zarbo.
Him too
True, but I don't think we ever had a shot at Jarred. Same thing with Jordan (Zach's brother). Mark Zarbo however, a transfer, was a clear play to get Matt and Joe, who ended up going to CCT. We did get the last laugh with Mike Zalewski, at least until he bolted for the pros.
I work for RPI and this is the first I've heard of any new fundraising efforts for the HFH.
I doubt they plan a massive renovation. The goal is probably to mirror the west end structure on the east end. When I asked the Col. about that back in February he said they had a donor lined up for $5M at one point but there were some conditions that led to to the deal falling apart. I'd also like to see them do something with the corner seats like they did in the southwest/northwest, but I don't think there's enough room.
How about renovating the awful men's room on the south side and enclosing the east end so people down't freeze when the zamboni door is open.

...unless of course your foundation was built on sand.Aside from one, I didn't mention anything about any of others because I don't know the relationships. Contrary to popular belief, there is always foundation behind what I type, even if I am victim to Matthew 7:26.

loyal to a faultYeah, I was just throwing it out there. SA is very loyal & with the Grahams just having their 1st child it’s highly unlikely he would relieve Nolan of his job ATT.
Good to see you here. For those who might be interested, my overly long and probably boring report from the hockey banquet: http://rpihockey.net/blog/?p=556
Also, it was suggested to me that maybe the job advert for Nolan's position was necessary in order to fulfill the requirements for getting him an extended work visa since he's a Canadian citizen - it might be necessary to show that there isn't an equally qualified candidate available. Just a thought.

After today's Orioles - White Sox baseball game was played with zero paying customers in the stands, Troy no longer holds the record for participating in the game with the smallest paid attendance in the history of Major League Baseball.
A lot of people don't know it, but Troy had a team in the National League for four seasons, from 1879 through 1882.
Some sources indicate that the smallest paid crowd in major league history was 12, for a game between the Troy Trojans and the Chicago White Stockings at Haymakers' Grounds in Troy on a rainy day in September, 1881. Others indicate that the smallest crowd was 6, for a game played between the Trojans and the Worcester Ruby Legs in Worcester, MA in September of the following year. Either way, the Trojans had held the distinction of playing before the smallest paid crowd in history prior to today.
The Trojans played home games at three different sites during their relatively brief existence. Their first home field, known as Putnam Grounds, was located on the southeast corner of 15th St. and Peoples Ave., just two blocks south and two blocks west from RPI's Robison Field. Haymakers' Grounds, where the Trojans played in 1880-81, was located in Lansingburgh, while the Troy Ball Club Grounds, where they played their final season in 1882, was in present-day Watervliet, though back then it was still known as West Troy.
