T/U story today re: McElroy. Sorry, I'm in the car and can't link it . Mentions his tenure likely to be measured in years not months. States that he believes the pieces for success are in place (paraphrasing.). Will be attending coaches convention with Seth.

Also mentions that he is already underway with fundraising for HFH renovations - which is the first I've heard of this?? (Warning: griping session to follow) I guess season ticket holders and frequent contributors to the program don't merit information such as this...I hope they aren't offended when I consider my donation with the same lackadaisical effort... For the record, I received a continuous barrage of marketing emails from DU after my simple weekend ticket purchase last fall. Despite their collecting my email address repeatedly, I've NEVER rec'd any type if similar email from RPI/HFH to encourage me to further support or contribute to anything...terrible. That's Chapter 1 of Marketing 101- keep and grow the customer you already have for crissakes!!

End of griping....Returning to hibernation.

I work for RPI and this is the first I've heard of any new fundraising efforts for the HFH.

I am with you on this one Flaggy. If he has nay pro aspirations at all, why would he stay in Troy another year? I can only think that he values his education and a likely degree. One further injury and his future professional career would be put in severe doubt. If his adviser can arrange any sort of decent offer, he could easily be persuaded.
