While I thought that the team played better last night, the weekend was a complete disappointment. Winning this weekend would have set us up to gain a fourth place finish and a bye in the playoffs.
And they played with no intensity on Friday night and allowed Clarkson to dictate the third period last night. I thought that we were a better team than that, and I still do.
We are running out of time. :(

have things really changed in the last 6-7 years? I remember the optimism followed by putrid efforts, followed by marginal improvements....etc. Same thing happens this year. They wasted a great weekend to make some points, totally blew it, especially after some promising efforts. Never have seen a series of teams with such wild swings in personas and on-ice performance. Very disappointing.

ONe point at home this weekend... let's make our own luck on the road ad get some points. A win against Brown paves the way for first round home ice... points against Yale make it even more interesting.

Sorry I missed a couple of days. Matt Zarbo has shot way ahead. Makes me wonder if Clarkson students haven't attempted to stuff the ballot box.

I have tickets for the Yale game, but I am not as excited to go as I was before last weekend. :mad::(

Nothing like a 30 year old dish... Come to Union : every year we get a fresh serving !

It's really too bad RPI can't play like a team. Individual talent is here I believe, but nobody knows how to use it properly (coach or players). Sad.

Nothing like a forty year old DOT salt shed...Come to Union : but don't drink fluid for a week because we only have one urinal.

It's really too bad Union would tolerate a coach that hits opposing players and only give him two games.

I don't need them! ;) I just thought that was really funny. Humor seems to be lost in everyone being soooooo serious. Like I mean just look at the last two posts. There really should be a thread titled Union vs RPI Fans - Leave the kids at home!

Nope.
individual = 1 person
players (with an "s" at the end) = multiple persons (like in a team, in ice-hockey for example)

The point of my original post was not to be all negative about RPI's team, it was to explain what I see on the ice : a lot of individual talent that neither the coach nor the players (as a team) can figure out how to use. Good for us, too bad for you.

Nothing like a new rink with as much spirit as a walmart, decorated by dusty 30 year old banners ;)
