RPI 2013/14 Part III: Maximum Overdrivel

Re: RPI 2013/14 Part III: Maximum Overdrivel

Ralph, that was a mistake. I'd never neg rep you on purpose. I'd counterbalance it with pos rep but can't. I certainly wouldn't compare you to that guy. I generally don't use rep at all, but in this case someone else deserved it. Sorry R.B.

I'll accept that. Don't worry about repping me back. Several others have done so in response.

Sorry, it's been kind of overshadowed.

Today is January 28, 2014. There are 5 players ahead of Ryan Haggerty. Did you vote <strike>today</strike>within the last 24 hours?

Vote HERE.

Everyone ahead of him is ahead by at least 4,000 votes, so this is likely as high as he goes, but there are a couple players close behind, so we can't stop now.

From the TweeterVerse:

Perry Laskaris ‏@PerryLaskaris 29m
@without_a_peer Schroeder has a two-minute minor and 5 & 10 for a questionable boarding call in 63 games. Neal has four minors in 75 gms.

Without a Peer ‏@without_a_peer 37m
In 88 games in an RPI uniform, Jacob Laliberte has taken a total of two penalties for four minutes. #LadyByngCandidate

Yeah, RPI and all those classless goons!

(Mostly just wanted to post in the thread to get the green arrow going for the future :))

Question: Since NCAA/ECAC has a travel limit, does Appert have a short bench on Friday so he can bring back all 4 suspended players on Saturday.?

Curadi is suspended for two games, so they'd only be bringing back three. My guess is that he'd have a short bench or have players come up on their own respective days, one or the other.

Also, from the It Could Always Be Worse department:

Looks like this non-action thing is more common than we may have thought? Gotta love Parker's choice of "a delay of game is all that I deserved for going nuts" words, too... but I can't believe he wasn't suspended at all. I agree with a lot of later analysis in the article, sounds exactly like what we've been saying the last few days.

Curadi is also eligible to come back on Saturday. (See a few posts ago.)
