Re: RPI 2011 Recruit Thread Pt. IV

:)

I could, of course, eliminate heights, weights, and dates of births, ...

NO! Please no. It's so great having it all in one spot. If anything, perhaps you could eliminate team names and just insert " Dubuque (USHL)". I'm not nearly tech savvy enough to know if that'd save enough room. :D

As always, thanks for taking the time to compile this RB! A labor of love !

Different screen resolutions would require different numbers of letters be removed. The real problem seems to be that for some reason the box doesn't scroll left and right.

Linux firefox not only looks fine, but has a scrollable bar.

Why are you so crabby lately? It's not the Sabres thing is it. BTW - I am not jealous of your computer savviness, troyboy and I do coding projects in our spare time.
And we do it with a Time Warner Remote.....so there !

Re: RPI 2011 Recruit Thread Pt. IV

He applied to BC and got rejected (surely under their special "athletes" admissions standards). My understanding is that RPI's standards are comparable or slightly tougher, and we have less flex for athletes. (Note: I openly acknowledge and encourage laxer admissions standards for hockey players; I just do not think we necessarily have the institutional structure in place in our athletics department, given its size and scope, to push players through the way a BCS school like BC can.)

Agreed. I also suspect that he lost interest in us, if there ever was any, when he found out that we on't be playing BU next season.

I see on Heisenberg's list that Union got its replacement goalie. He can't even spell his own name correctly. :D

I think he was HE bound all the way...Not withstanding the possibility that he could turn pro after this season. If ATL likes how he finishes the year in DBQ, they could sign him and send him to camp with the Wolves. If he's smart and listens to his parents, he'll stick around and get an education.

I disagree with RB that he will go to NU. Too much going on with Cronin.

Good luck to Luke Curadi and the rest of the Dubuque Fighting Saints as they begin the Western Conference finals tonight at home vs. high scoring Kyle Rau and the Sioux Falls Stampede.

It's been a while since any of our recruits have played a game, but as you wrote, Dubuque this evening and then the RBC starts on Saturday.

Re: RPI 2011 Recruit Thread Pt. IV

Anybody know of a live feed for the RBC? Really cant take time off to go to Canada to see it personally.
