Shemp doesn't qualify as a Curley at all; he was the older of the brothers and had his own style. You are correct, though, that the Joes just didn't cut it.

Do you or anyone else know if there is a NJ playoffs? If not, I wonder if Melanson will play on a junior team team. He played for several years in the North Jersey Avalanche program.

There seems to be a Gordon Cup, with all 10 teams in the conference participating. Theres 5 teams in two divisons, American and National. Delbarton is the #1 seed in the American Division and will probably play the winner of the 4A-Bergen/5N-Pope John preliminary game. I'll assume that the winner of the Gordon Cup moves onto the NJSIAA playoffs.

It says that they play 4N/5A, not 4A/5N, which would be the more traditional way to do it, with their "likely" opponent being #4 in the other division.

Ralph-there is a NJ playoff used to be actually 2 playoffs-one for public schools and one for private schools with the winners eventually playing in the Meadowlands Arena. I am not sure what is happening this year but i strongly suspect there will be some sort of playoff system for each conference
