Delbarton advances to the Gordon Cup Finals on Saturday to play either Don Bosco Prep or St. Augustine Prep.

I just read the line off USHR. I think that they never posted results from one of the make-up games a few weeks ago in which Drew had an assist. I guess his line should read 23-6-13-19-? My bad, guess I shouldnt be posting from a hospital bed.

I know pretty much how you feel-I could not listen to the Colgate or Cornell games back in January because of being in ICU. Jenny tried to sneak in my laptop but the nurses forbid it.

That's what happens when I quote the previous message and edit it wrong. I'll fix it. It was a bad loss for Cornwall. They now trail Pembroke by 3 points and Pembroke has two games in hand.

Edit: It was on a two-man advantage. Maybe that is what I meant.

We certainly can use someone who can score on a 5-on-3 powerplay.

The teams that do well on the 5 on 3 power plays try to station one forward on each side of the net-and try to have them keep moving back and forth to the opposite side. It disrupts the goalie, makes the defensemen constantly move and makes it seem like a chinese fire drill in front of the net leaving the other 3 on the ice (usually 2 more forwards and a defenseman) very much free to move the puck back and forth for an opening to send the puck towards the goal for the two forwards near the net to tip or rebound in. Sounds easy on paper but for some reason we have great difficulty doing it, Cornwall is obviously more successful at implementing tht scheme.
